I used to have misunderstanding with someone now. I really want to realize what you do say. You do, too. However, we fail and always get angry.
=
I often remember the time I was 15 years old. I felt confused why one of my best friends can not understand what I said. Anyways, I would explain for her, tell her any details she didn't understand, and get to know each other with patience. At that time, I sometimes felt she is a little bluntness, and I may despise her a little. But, I like her still.
=
Today, I may have a misunderstanding with that guy I infer to at the beginning, and be despised by her. I admire I haven't taken this so seriously, because I feel that guy feel I am annoying. Maybe, the emotion isn't hate, but maybe is dislike. Encounter this corner, whether I should give up or not. I don't know. Nevertheless, I prefer the former, because I am not a child anymore, I can not desire anything going the way I want. I have to learn give up. Yes, I do....

Second Skin
(from: http://www.mocataipei.org.tw/_english/3_exhibition/0_overview.asp)I went to visit an exhibition in Moca(Modern of Contemporary Art Taipei) Museum.I was so amazing that there were such things like, anaplasty, including breat augmentation, and face lift, the cloth made by rubber assembles the human's skin, and many thing out of our imagine!!!! Experience them by your own eyes!!
Exhibition venues: 2007/3/10-5/06 Museum of Contemporary Art,Taipei
About Second Skin Every object has a skin. Thick or thin, smooth or rough, porous or impermeable, skin is the line between a hidden interior and a surface that we can touch and see. Contemporary products, furniture, fashion, and architecture reflect the convergence of natural and artificial life. Designers today manipulate surfaces to create skins that both reveal and conceal, skins that have depth and complexity. As advances in science dissolve the boundaries between technology and nature, a new organicism has emerged, expressed in the conjunction of artificial materials and fluid forms. As our bodies become more like industrial products-subject to miraculous procedures of maintenance, repair, and redesign-we expect objects to be more like us: responsive, erotic, and soft to the touch.Second Skin presents examples of products, furniture, fashion, architecture, and media that are expanding the limits of the outer surface. Reflecting the convergence of natural and artificial life, the exhibition will show how enhanced and simulated skins appear throughout the contemporary environment. Designers today continually manipulate the relationship between the inside and outside of objects, garments, and buildings, creating skins that both reveal and conceal, skins that have depth, complexity, and their own behaviors and identities.Second Skin is a sequel to Skin: Surface, Substance + Design, organized by Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution in New York City, 2002. Second Skin contains new objects and projects as well as selected works from the original installation.
After the exhibition, I visited the CAMPO innovatoin market hold by my brother, David. (You can visit their website through the link on my blog!) It was my first time to go there. I love it at my first sight. The ideas and things they made were so facinating that even the Industrial Design department of our school can not beat them!! I will visit it next time!

My malleolus(腳踝) got twisted
I was so stupid today. Today was our Chinese Medicine Night. However, I can not participate the night from beginning to end. I had to join the basketball contest between departments. I was so unlucky that when it's my turn to be the one on the court, my malleolus twisted. I hadn't shot, hadn't committed a foul, and hadn't done anything..... I was depressed. I hadn't watch the show my classmates directed. I hadn't help my seniors(學姊們) win the contest. I just was a fool. I hurt, and got nothing....... I wish I could recover as fast as possible. I don't what to stay at home or the dormitory anymore!!!!

Wish
Yesterday, one of my juniors(學妹) called me that she was admitted into NTU electrical engineering department. I was proud of her. On the way, before facing the acid test, J.C.E.E, after receiving the results, and before the selection exam, I accompanied with her, gave her advice, comforted her anxiety, provided with any helps I could offer, and watched her success. I knew that her accomplish was the results of her hard working and intelligent. I realized she is so out-standing and exellent that she can achieve her goal. I felt intense delight, because I had the chance to see my junior achieve her dream!
From now on, I unterstood that the link between us might not be continuous, as a result of my junior's personalities, proud and aloof, like me. I was a little low-spirited and felt lonely. However, it's life. Ces't la vie. Das ist das Leben!
Wish her have a wonderful summer, college life, and her whole life!
And wish myself have another one, too.

Biology class

Last week, our teacher, Mr. Gao, introduced the chapter of evolution. When he talked about the sexual selection, he said....."Look! Why are there so many sexual harassment cases? Why are this society full of people of perversity? That's because girls you seen on the road, who wear so pretty and sexy, attract males! They seem to say-come to sexual violate me! I am so annoying that those girls are too sexy!!! I want to sue them for visual sexual harassment because of their out-looking. Of course, I do not mean that it's not good for girls to be sexy. You see?! Chih Ling Lin looks so nice! Ohhhh~~(satisfied sound)" This state amazed me!! Mr. Gao is really a true man in my opinion! We might think of it, but we dare not to tell everyone :)

Spider Lily
(>///<http://www.wretch.cc/blog/spiderlily (the website) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1E33Au8OPs (watch in advance!)
Today I went to watch a movie made by Taiwan, Spider Lily. You may think it’s a movie about lesbians. Yes, that’s true. The leading roles are two lesbians, Bamboo and Little Green, but so what? It doesn’t matter. The main role in this movie, in my opinion, is this movie’s title, the tattoo, Spider Lily on Bamboo’s arm. I like the meaning of tattoo in this movie. The tattoo bears the sorrow of loosing her family, the sadness of her brother forgetting her, and the compression of love. Little Green wants to have tattoo and chance on her first love, Bamboo. We can see how the tattoos mean for the roles in the movie and how the tattoos influence and change them. Hey, It‘s worthy to see, so I won’t tell you the end! Go to see it! ^^
I can not tolerate Hollywood type movies. Hollywood likes to talk about main stream values, such as western view to see this world. I fad up with it!!! That’s why recent years, I have fell in love with domestic movies from past to the newest movies. You might not forget that in The Dull-ice Flower(魯冰花), how angelical the children are, and how ugly the adults are. Also, in The Wayward Cloud(天邊一朵雲), the director, Ming-liang Tsai, who has direct many meaningful movies, shows the human’s lonesome and use the imagine of water symbolizing the materialized humans. I have seen many domestic movie, like A City of Sadness(悲情城市), Let It Be(無米樂), Eternal Summer(盛夏光年), and so on. I like the ideas in these movies. Maybe the ideas might not the same, but they are clearly next to our life. We could enjoy them easily. Furthermore, recently, these movies have mixed with art! The art is like a shower of rain in time while a drought!
Watching movie can bring stimulations and something to be thought in our plain life. However, we can’t fell in the story and day-dream and forget ourselves. Like the plot in the Spider Lily, “You always choose to remember your past instead of forgetting it?” said Bamboo, and Little Green said ”Yes, and I believe it.”

My Classmate: David Chen
David Chen is one of my classmates in my college. We have known each other for half of a year. The following descriptions are some of my knowledge about him.
Inspite of David’s featureless appearance, he is a boy filled with passion and responsibility. People around him are not surprised that he participates many activities. Of course, he does well in all of them! He always volunteers to do things that others have no will to do. Unlike most lazy teenagers, he deserves the praise!
David is also a boy having a lot of interests. He likes to listen to pop music and Rock’n Roll to release his emotion and to console his broken heart. He is fond of watching comedy movie and reading comics to take optimistic sight to life. He love to travel too. “Travel is the best teacher in my life,” David said. Travel inriches his knowledge, broadens his horizon, and gives him a chance to know that there are still many poor people in the world!!
To summarize above all, David has a dream— to become an excellent Chinese doctor to help people and make them feel good. I give my best wishes to my classmate, David, for achieving his goal!

Components of human
It's a picture I collect as a treasure. As a human, we need, we desire, we hope, and we dream! If we lack one of those, we might feel our lives have something lost.... However, we need, and we should help others when they need us. It's will make your heart so ugly if you are so stingy. We desire, and the desire can't be too much that we can't have it! How much you pay, and how much you get. We hope, but we can't hope something that's impossible and bring annoy to people. The hope is a strength that give you energy to face difficulty! In the end, we dream and we accomplish our dream. Dream is so beatiful if you achieve it!!That's the idea I want to share with all of you :)

April fools
April Fool's Day History
The history of April Fool's Day or All Fool's Day is uncertain, but the current thinking is that it began around 1582 in France with the reform of the calendar under Charles IX. The Gregorian Calendar was introduced, and New Year's Day was moved from March 25 - April 1 (new year's week) to January 1.
Communication traveled slowly in those days and some people were only informed of the change several years later. Still others, who were more rebellious refused to acknowledge the change and continued to celebrate on the last day of the former celebration, April 1. These people were labeled "fools" by the general populace, were subject to ridicule and sent on "fool errands," sent invitations to nonexistent parties and had other practical jokes played upon them. The butts of these pranks became known as a "poisson d'avril" or "April fish" because a young naive fish is easily caught. In addition, one common practice was to hook a paper fish on the back of someone as a joke.
This harassment evolved over time and a custom of prank-playing continue on the first day of April. This tradition eventually spread elsewhere like to Britain and Scotland in the 18th century and was introduced to the American colonies by the English and the French. Because of this spread to other countries, April Fool's Day has taken on an international flavor with each country celebrating the holiday in its own way. In Scotland, for instance, April Fool's Day is devoted to spoofs involving the buttocks and as such is called Taily Day. The butts of these jokes are known as April 'Gowk', another name for cuckoo bird. The origins of the "Kick Me" sign can be traced back to the Scottish observance. In England, jokes are played only in the morning. Fools are called 'gobs' or 'gobby' and the victim of a joke is called a 'noodle.' It was considered back luck to play a practical joke on someone after noon. In Rome, the holiday is known as Festival of Hilaria, celebrating the resurrection of the god Attis, is on March 25 and is also referred to as "Roman Laughing Day."
In Portugal, April Fool's Day falls on the Sunday and Monday before lent. In this celebration, many people throw flour at their friends. The Huli Festival is celebrated on March 31 in India. People play jokes on one another and smear colors on one another celebrating the arrival of Spring.
So, no matter where you happen to be in the world on April 1, don't be surprised if April fools fall playfully upon you.
---------------------------------------------------
I like this holiday for I can fool others. Of course, most of the time, I am the one who is tricked by others. I always remember one of April fool's day in my life. That happened in my first year of senior high school life. My classmates and I were so naughty that we changed our class with neighbour class in order to trick our teachers. Yeah, it was fun and smart, but our teachers were smarter than us. At the moment the teacher came in, she told us, "All right, today we have a test. Everyone has to take it!" Suddenly, we found that it wasn't fun anymore. We were fooled by our teachers. In the end, we asked her not to do that and apologized for our mistake. She just said, "Ha! You all fool by me!!" (All classmates were Orz)

Cancer in conflict
It's the draft that I prepare for a election campaign to Asian Medical Convention in Korea. Although I haven't been chosen, I'd like to share this draft for you!
--------------------------------------------------------
Good afternoon, my dear judges. Now I would talk about the topic, Cancer in conflict! Nowadays cancer has become the No.1 death cause, especially cervical cancer to women, and liver cancer, lung cancer to the public. However, cancers are not an incurable disease anymore. We know some way to prevent it! For instance, not to be too fat, not to smoke in excess, not to eat betel nut and to have balance diet. But it's not enough! We know that most of cancers are causing by gene and environment. Therefore, there are different cancers in majority in different countries. Participate this conference, we could discuss more about that.
In addition, I would like to focus on how alternative medicine, like Chinese medicine I study, influences the therapies to cure cancers. Would it do it better or make it worse? I have heard some people treat their cancer with herbs. Some practice Tai chi and recover to health. But there’re some getting worse. And I also have heard that western medicine doctor of Koo foundation Sun Yat-sen cancer center says chemical therapies is the main stream and is the only lighthouse in the ageing society. It is worthy to be discussing in this conference!
In Science view, I know that if we can recognize the carbohydrate on cancer cell, the scientists could invent the arrow to these targets. So that chemical therapy won’t cause enormous infection to human body and success to kill cancer. In fact, it has been done on curing lung cancer in Taiwan. In this conference, students from different nation can share their countries’ success to cure cancer. Or another thinking to attack or repair the cancer cells!
In the end, I want to talk about my plan to this trip. It is a good chance to meet new friends and practice my communication skill. And, I am interesting to acquaintance with a new culture I haven’t met before. Furthermore, as a Medical student living in Taiwan, I wish I could broaden my horizon and not limit my eyesight within this small island. To know how foreign Medical students think and what they want to do in the future. That’s why I want to join the conference. Thanks for your attention!
